Fenty Beauty’s Diamond Collection

I’ve never been the kind to like glittery or glossy beauty products. For some odd reasons, these type of products just doesn’t impress me or more like, it doesn’t really suit me. But my love for Fenty Beauty has been unstoppable and so I was tempted to dip into their Diamond Collection. Quite honestly though, these products have been sitting on my desk for a few weeks before I finally braved myself into trying them. After testing these beauties individually, I am finally ready to share a short review of Fenty Beauty’s Diamond Collection.

The Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil Highlighter in “How Many Carats”

I loved the Killawatt Highlighters so I was ready to gamble on one of Fenty’s newest highlighters. The Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil in the shade “How Many Carats?!”. I first swatched this at the store and to be honest, I was reluctant to purchase it at first but I thought it would be worth a try. First, the diamond-shaped packaging is unique and cute. It’s also very handy making it easy to travel with or to carry around your makeup bag.

This highlighter is infused with glitter which you can either love or hate. Since I am not a huge fan of glittery makeup, I was honestly overwhelmed and intimidated. I mean, how can I wear this on a regular day? But, what made me decide to purchase it is that the glitters are very fine. It kinda gives you a striking shimmery finish without looking to draggy so it is safe to still use it as a cheek highlighter. Surprisingly, it was also easy to blend with my foundation and my skin which I honestly didn’t expect given the formulation of the product.

However, what I find annoying about this product is that it does not stay in place. So most likely, you will end up with glitter all over your face or clothes at the end of the day. Considering this downside, I personally would not wear this as a daily cheek highlight but might consider it for a night out because of its glimmery finish. Most likely though, I would prefer using it as a body highlighter specifically during the Summertime.

Face & Body Kabuki Brush 160

If I am not mistaken, this brush was a part of the Diamond Bomb Collection. I currently do not own a Kabuki Brush so it gave me a reason to try this out. Also, how can anyone say no to its striking metallic handle and pink bristles which can beautify your makeup table? Not me! In addition to that, it’s a dual purpose brush that can be used to either the body or face. Since the bristles are soft and packed, it would be ideal to use it to apply a powder to your face. Personally, I would prefer to use it to highlight my body.

Glass Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer

Again, this is an unusual purchase for me because I do not wear lip glosses. But, after hearing a lot of good reviews about the Fenty Glow shade, I thought I should give glosses a second a chance.

Fenty Glow

This is a nude rose shade that is not a part of the Diamond Collection but has been making a loud noise in the beauty community. So much so that Fenty Beauty decided to release a new shade to mark their first year anniversary.

Diamond Milk

Diamond Milk is the newest shade from the Glass Bomb Collection and is also a part of the Diamond Collection.

These two glosses are highly similar except for their shades which I find impressive. Fenty Beauty was able to keep the same quality on both products even though they were not released together. I also specifically like their packaging. It’s unique and highly made which I find necessary considering the price. Most importantly, I was really surprised to actually like these two. Yes, they are supposed to be lip glosses but thankfully, they lack the sticky consistency that a usual gloss would have. Both are shiny but subtle so it’s not overwhelming to anyone who is not used to this type of product.

Application wise is very easy. I would normally use two swipes to get enough shine that I prefer but you can absolutely build it up. The thing that I liked the most about this gloss is that it felt very moisturizing on the lips. It feels soft on the lips which I don’t mind especially that the colder temperature can leave me with dry lips. I also find these glosses versatile. You can either use them alone for a softer look or use them over a lipstick to give you a satin finish.

Have you used any of these products yet? Which one and would you recommend it?
