About the Author!
Filipina currently living in Montreal. As a little girl, I’ve always enjoyed dressing up and playing with my mother’s makeup. There’s just something about clothes and makeup that makes me very happy! Later on in my life, I developed a passion for writing poetry which I guess rooted through my love for reading.
Although I never really dreamed of becoming a content creator, I decided to start this blog back in 2016. I was going through a difficult time in my personal life at that time and I needed an outlet. It all started with a poem about how I was feeling and how I wanted to encourage and help other women who are going through the same journey. I wanted to be the voice of these women and I wanted to be a part of the solution.
My vision is to create a space for women where we can use our passion to evolve, grow and thrive without letting our past experiences dictate our future!
Through this vision and my desire for writing, fashion and beauty, thatgirlArlene was born!
