Five Reasons Why I Love Fall

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might already know that Fall is my favorite season. I get an unexplainable excitement or more like a giddy feeling whenever October comes because I know, my season has arrived! But as much as I’ve been repetitive on my love for Fall, I never really explained why I am infatuated with this season. So I thought it would be fun for me to share with you the top Five Reasons Why I Love Fall!

Five Reasons Why I Love Fall

1.The colorful landscape

When the leaves start to change, it gives a completely calming scenery that I just can’t avoid admiring. Really, it’s not even necessary to go up in the mountains to see all these beautiful colors. Just looking at the trees in my neighborhood or ones that I see going to work, is more than enough to wow me. In a more deeper note, the changing scenery kinda reminds me that life truly is beautiful! We just have to sometimes stop and appreciate the moment and sometimes, it makes a big difference.

2. Marks a new beginning

This may be weird to a few but Fall always reminds me of new beginnings. This statement might be more rightful for Spring but since I don’t like Spring, I chose to associate this belief with Fall instead. Why? Well, can you imagine how the trees or the flowers or even the grass can completely adapt to the new season? Smart isn’t it? For some odd reason, this natural occurrence makes me think that it’s okay to let go. Let go of the things that you don’t like, the plans that didn’t go through, the people that don’t truly appreciate you or any negative notions you have in mind. It’s okay to begin again! To start from scratch. To adapt to your new environment because you know what, there will be a next Summer waiting for you.

3. Fashion! Fashion! Fashion!

Okay, girl! This list will never be complete without the Fall fashion statements that I am completely obsessed about! Over the knee boots is at the top of the list but let’s not forget the much talked about Trenchcoats this season too! I am sure many of you also have the habit of buying just one more trenchcoat year after year yet you still feel like you don’t have enough! Another thing I am obsessed at and thankful that I can wear them this season are long cardigans. I am a shorty at 5 feet flat but man, I love long cardigans. They’re very easy to pair with, warm and comfy which is just perfect when the temperature is starting to go low.

4. The Manageable Temperature

Winter here in Montreal are usually harsh. Summers are usually hot and humid. Springs are usually windy and rainy. Fall, however, has a manageable temperature which makes it still possible to enjoy the outdoors. As I usually hear it from my colleagues, so long that you dress well, you’ll be okay! Although the latter part of the season can become colder, the freezing temperatures during the Winter time are way-way worse!

5. Holiday Vibe

Fall marks a lot of celebrations! Well, almost. We have the Thanksgiving, Halloween and my birthday! (LOL). For me, it’s also a time that marks Christmas because we usually get the first snow during this season and snow equates to Christmas for me. Again, it’s just one of my weird notions! LOL. Needless to say, it’s a season that’s full of celebration and family time which makes it really special. It just feels so refreshing to pause for a while and spend time with the people that you love amidst all our busy schedules.

So there you have it! The Five Reasons Why I Love Fall! If you happen to love this season like me, don’t forget to share your own list in the comment box below!
