Spring 2018 Empties
Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I last shared an empties post and so I thought it would be fun to finally do so today. I haven’t been using up that many products so I decided to accumulate ’em and share a single post for my Spring 2018 Empties. Honestly, it is still not much and that’s maybe because I’ve been jumping from product to product these past few months making it difficult to finish them but that’s something I really want to work on this season since I have a few products that are starting to build up. Anyways, let get started!
Makeup
If you’ve seen a few of my empties post in the past, you’d probably agree that I need to really try to use up more makeup products since I always have the least of these in my empties. This season is not an exception since I only have five on my list. First is the Rainforest of the Sea boosting mist by Tarte which was a regular in my makeup bag for the past few months but a not necessarily a favorite. I find the smell a bit strong for my liking but it did a good job on making my makeup last. Second is the BH Cosmetics eyeliner which is not necessarily empty but more like a waste of space (sorry!). I absolutely dislike this liner because the quality is so bad! It may be because it was just a free item when I purchased a set of makeup brush from them so they didn’t really bother giving out good batches.
Next is another eyeliner from NARS which I love! It is very pigmented, smudge proof and is a perfect-on-the go product. This is something that I would want to repurchase in the future. Last in line are the Photo Finish Water Primer and 24 Hour Eyeshadow Primer from Smashbox which I both love! I did a review about these two which you can read if you want to know more about this collection.
Skincare
First on the list is the Clean Truth Foaming Cleanser from OLEHENRIKSEN. This is by far the most citrusy cleanser I have ever tried! It smells so amazing and is so gentle on the skin. I would recommend trying this out if you are looking for an effective foam cleanser. Moving on with the Lala Retro Whipped Cream by Drunk Elephant. I used this as a nighttime moisturizer because the consistency is a bit heavy which worked perfectly for me. It was very hydrating especially in the early days of Spring when the colder temperature can be drying. Another one from OLEHENRIKSEN is the Nurture Me Moisturizing Creme which was a pretty decent AM moisturizer. The smell was again heavenly and very moisturizing. I didn’t notice it interfering with my foundation which is a must for me. Finally the Hungarian Thermal Moisturizer from Peter Thomas Roth which I believe I got as a sample from one of my previous Sephora purchases. I don’t really remember much about this product but it’s still a decent moisturizer.
These two oils from Josie Maran are a regular in my empties post but I’m afraid to say that these are the final bottles in my stash. Nonetheless, they are still my favorite but they’re a bit pricey so I am venturing into other cheaper alternatives but would definitely repurchase in the future.
Body Care
Of course, hand lotions! LOL. I drink hand lotions during the colder seasons because my hands get really really dry even though I try to moisturize them a lot. I used up the Nutriextra hand lotion by Vichy and OLEHENRIKSEN’sForce of Nurture Hand Creme. This next one is something many of you may not be familiar with because I got it during my last visit to the Philippines. It’s the Sweet Serendipity body lotion from BENCH (Philippines). I would absolutely recommend this if you are residing in the PH or is planning to visit because it’s not only cheap but it’s also very moisturizing and smells so so good!
Hair Care
For hair, I only have products from Pantene. I mainly use this brand for majority of my hair products because I find that it’s the only one that works really well with my hair type. I recently discovered the 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner which is a new favorite!
Samples
I am still working on my samples and finally, I can see my little container starting to clear. I am planning to use them all this Summer since I only have a few left! For this batch, I was drawn to the Oxygenating Eye Gel Cream by Philosophy which I am planning to purchase once I ran out with eye cream.
There goes my Spring 2018 list! Thank you all for reading!
xoxo,

You are welcome to read them! 😀 Smashbox is a good brand. I have to discover more of their products myself.

I love the Josie Maran Argan oil but I agree it’s rather pricey. I’d love to try that citrus cleanser!
