March 2018 Empties

March is practically done and so it’s time for me to share with you all my monthly empties! It sounds crazy how sharing my garbage can be exciting and fun yeah? LOL. To make it worse, I’ve been anxiously waiting to share this post since the middle of this month mainly because I’m really proud of myself for using up this much products. Obviously, I started using most of these products months and months ago but I am just so delighted to finish them up this month. I don’t know but there’s that joy that you get when you empty a product because you know that you didn’t waste your money or sometimes it’s just a relief to finish up something that you just don’t want to waste.

Anyways, on to my March Empties…

Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel (Review)

I love this moisturizer so much and I am actually sad that it is now empty. I use this mainly at night because it does take a while to dry (little time that I do not have in the morning!) and I love how it helped to moisturize my skin especially during this past Winter. I am also very addicted on how it felt so relaxing on the skin which made it more suitable for a night-time use. It’s also very impressive that this bottle lasted me six months which is very impressive since I was able to get this for approximately $6.00 or $7.00!

Repurchase: Absolutely!!!

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser (Review)

This is one of the first Pixi products that I have ever tried and I did like it. I love how it felt soft and gentle on the skin but the major draw back is that it didn’t really help to thoroughly remove all traces of makeup on my skin which requires me to always have a secondary cleanser just to make sure that my skin is clean. I don’t find that really impressive because let’s be honest here, this cleanser is a bit pricey considering that it’s a drugstore brand.

Repurchase: Maybe

Maybelline Curvitude Liquid Liner (Review)

I have talked about this liquid liner so many times in my previous blog posts because I honestly love this! I find it super easy to use which saved me so much time in the morning and it also lasts the whole day. You cannot really beat this because for its price, you get a high-end result.

Tresemmé Repair and Protect & Prestyling Spray

I have first talked about this in my February Favorites post and I was really surprised that I was able to use it up that quick but then again I was using it everyday so I guess that explains that. First of all, the scent of this spray is lovely! It helps to keep me awake in the morning each time I spray it on my hair and it also did helped me to manage my hair. I think it’s also impressive that this spray did not cause me any dandruff nor did it make my scalp itchy.

Repurchase: Already did!

First Aid Beauty’s Hello Fab Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer

This was my morning moisturizer because it apparently helps to prime the skin as well but honestly this did not really leave me a very lasting impression because I didn’t notice anything so special and different about it. I liked how it felt on my skin and how moisturizing it felt but that’s al about it.

Repurchase: I honestly don’t know!

Burberry’s Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base (Review)

This is another product I hate to see go! This is such an effective primer and I love how it gave me a glowy finish even if I have some dry areas on my face (thanks to the very harsh Winter we had this year!). I really felt like this has a moisturizing effect on the skin as well which is an added bonus.

Repurchase: Yes! Yes! Yes!

Physicians Formula’s Argan Oil (Review)

I think I mentioned how I had a love and hate relationship with this oil on the review I shared months ago but I eventually fell in love with this because I found it really beneficial on my hair. I use it every night before I go to bed and it made my skin softer and easier to manage the next day which honestly was a big time saver. I wouldn’t recommend it as a facial oil but it’s perfect if you are looking for a nice hair oil.

Repurchase: Yes!

Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Conditioner

First of all, my hair is extremely dry and damaged that’s why it is very important for me to find products that not only clean my hair but also helps to heal it. I tried so many conditioners but I always come back to this one because it is the only one that works for me. It helps to really soften and moisturize my hair which I find really impressive since I can easily get this conditioner at the drugstore for a discounted price. I also use the Shampoo version of this specific line and it works really well for me. I would highly recommend this if you have dry hair like me.

Repurchase: Hell Yes!

Amore Pacific Essential Creme Fluid

I think I got this in one of the “Sephora Favorites” I purchased late last month but I was only able to use it this month. I was initially in love with its scent and how it felt really smooth on my skin but I was more impressed on how it effectively moisturized my skin. My only complain is that it requires quite a few amount of product to use since it dries quickly on the skin once it’s applied.

Repurchase: Maybe if it’s on special since the full size is priced at $125.00!

Tarte Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment

I honestly don’t know what to say about this product because I did not really see any visible results even after finishing up this bottle. It is supposed to brighten and hydrate the skin around the eye area but I didn’t really saw this effect on me but maybe because I do not have any major issues on that area so it didn’t really do anything to me. I don’t know.

Repurchase: No

Fresh Sugar Therapy Lip Treatment

This did an amazing job on keeping my lips moisturized this Winter and so I am very impressed! The product is not oily and it doesn’t have a weird taste which is an added bonus.

Repurchase: Yes!

Benefit They’re Real Mascara (Review)

This is one of my favorite mascaras last year and I guess I explained it why in the review. However, I was using it less and less these past few weeks because it had started to dry up making it a bit difficult to work with. It is a nice mascara that gives a decent volume on my lashes so I still like it but I hope that Benefit would do something on the formula to make it last a little longer.

Samples

Since sharing the The Spring 2018 Sample Challenge, I managed to use these samples. So far, none of these really left me a great impression to tease me to buy the full size and that’s mainly because these samples only contained a tiny bit of products which did not allow me to really test the products.

How was your empties this month?

xoxo,
