Blogging is a whole bunch of everything! It’s fun, exciting and a great way to share your creativity. However, it can be upsetting if you are putting so much effort on your contents but feel like it’s not getting the traffic it deserves. I totally get this! So today, let me share Five Super Easy Ways to Boost your Blog Views that you can use ASAP whether you just launch your website or is finding new ways to improve your current blog views!
Five Super Easy Ways to Boost your Blog Views
Now, before we begin, let me start by saying that yes, it’s not good to focus on the numbers ONLY especially when you are just starting your blog. However, these numbers are still important because let’s be honest, you don’t want to keep putting contents out there that no one sees.
I am sure that you are spending so much time and effort in creating every single detail about your blog or website and so it’s important to always listen to the numbers and make improvements when necessary.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that getting higher views and engagements is not easy and may take time. If you are still not seeing the numbers that you want, DO NOT GIVE UP! Keep creating! You will get there as long as you keep working hard!
Now, let’s get down to business shall we?
1. Share Contents Regularly!
This is an obvious which you may agree. Your audience will not be familiar about your blog if you are not consistent with your contents.
You do not have to share a blog post daily or 3 times a week if you are not capable to but begin with sharing at least 1 article per week. If you wish, you can even choose a specific day of the week to publish your contents and advise your readers so they know when to come back on your website. This will help you build a consistent traffic every time you publish a post!
2. Create Contents that your Audience Love
This is when listening to numbers becomes very relevant. As much as I encourage you to talk about what you’re passionate about, you also have to consider what your audience love and why are they on your website in the first place.
Take your time to really study your daily, weekly, monthly and yearly traffic. When doing this, be very very observant and make sure to take down notes.
Answer questions like, “What topics does encourage conversations in the comment section?”, “What are my most viewed posts?”, “Which articles gets consistent traffic even if they’re publish a while back?”, “Which topics does not generate engagements”? “What are my most searched terms?”.
Once you answered these questions, use the data you gathered to build a stronger and more consistent views every time you publish a new post. Basically, create more contents about the topics that your audience like and probably rethink other topics that does not give you the results that you want.
It’s also important to always keep your brand in mind. For example, if you are promoting a Beauty Blog, chances are your audience will consist more of beauty enthusiasts.
These audience will obviously expect you to share anything beauty related. Therefore, share contents about beauty consistently! Of course, you can still share articles about other topics or niche once in a while but never loose your branding.
3. Use the Right Social Media Platform to Promote your Articles
It’s no secret that social media is a great tool to use to promote not only your website but also your articles.
However, you have to choose the right platform! For example in my case, I mainly use Pinterestto promote my Fashion related contents and it works all the time! This is because a lot of people would search Pinterest for OOTD inspirations. If the photo that I pinned (from an article) gets views, I have a higher chance to direct those Pinterest views to my website creating better engagement and views on my website.
And so always try to analyze your target audience and which platform to reach them when promoting your works on Social Media.
4. Be Interactive
Part of running a website or a blog is the responsibility to be interactive with your readers. This applies not only on your website but also on any of your social media handles.
Being interactive does not only mean responding to comments or liking comments but also by being active on social media. I know this can be a lot and I totally understand since I am personally working on this area but this is important.
You have to be out there! Your readers should see and feel you get involve with engaging with them not only when you are promoting a new article. This helps you build a strong audience which results to higher readership on your articles.
5. "Beautify" your Website!
I know I said this a couple times before but I’m gonna say it again because it is important.
The very first thing that your audience, especially new ones, notices is your website design. If they’re impressed with your design, graphics or layout, it can encourage them to browse your articles, follow your social media handles and/or subscribe on your mailing list. This is not only growing your audience but also your readership!
So be creative and redesign or reorganize your website because it does pay off!
And that’s Five Super Easy Ways to Boost your Blog Views! I hope you find this article helpful.
Please use this as a guide and at the same time develop new ways to grow not only your readership but also your audience. And of course, relax and do not pressure yourself so much with numbers. The most important thing is to have fun when creating any content so you can radiant the same message to anyone reading your articles!
I completely agree with you regarding consistent posting. I always see a jump in views on my regular posting days – even though the jump may be on older posts! Sometimes I wonder if Google prioritizes older posts from sites on days that new content is being added!
Such a helpful and informative post! I had a blog in the past but deleted it, this one is a fresh start. I hope that, armed with these tips, I can get some traffic.
Thanks for sharing!
