The Top Ten Reasons Why I love Blogging

I have been blogging for almost two years now and from then on I have discovered so many reasons why I love blogging so much that it has been a part of my daily living. I did took a few breaks here and there but never once thought of giving it up because it did actually help better myself in so many ways. So today, I thought it would be fun for me to share with you all the top ten reasons why I love blogging in the hopes of encouraging every bloggers out there to continue what you are doing and to encourage aspiring bloggers to just go for it because honestly, blogging is more than just a fun hobby!

IT MADE ME IMPROVE MY PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS

Now I am not saying that I can compare my photos to that of a professional photographer because really, my works are still raw and needs a lot of improving. However, blogging has prompted me to practise a lot in terms of taking and editing my own pictures to hopefully create a visually appetizing content. Without carrying my own chair, I can say that my pictures now has improved tremendously compared when I first started blogging.

MY WRITING SKILLS HAS IMPROVED A LOT

I started having an interest in writing when I was in high school but never really pushed it through until I started this blog. I mean I would still write poetry, short stories, prose and essays but I had never been consistent with it. When I started blogging though, this routine changed because I found myself wanting to write more and more which in turn helped me develop my way of writing. Again, I still need to improve a lot but blogging has helped me better my writing style.

I HAVE LEARNED SO MANY NEW THINGS

I am not going to go in details about all the things I learned from blogging since I am preparing a separate post about it but I can honestly say that blogging has taught me so many things that I probably won’t know about had I not decide to start a blog. I did not only learn about SEO’s, Photo editing, a few basics of marketing but I also learned new things about myself that actually helped me in life. Amazing how a simple blog can become a good teacher right?

I GET INSPIRED

The Blogging world in general is full of creative minds which alone inspires me to write more. I have seen and read a few blogs that really touched my heart and their stories encourages me to just really move forward in life. I love reading stories of people trying out new things, chasing their dreams, getting out of their comfort zones, moving on, giving-up, loving again, starting again, healing and basically just embracing life. These stories inspires me to do the same in my own personal life which I thought is really amazing.

IT MAKES ME EXPLORE MY CREATIVITY

Growing up, I was never the one who excelled in anything that involves creativity. I tried, but it never really worked for me. Blogging however allowed me to experiment, discover and learn about my own creativity. For once, I was not afraid to create something that’s “unappealing” or “flawed”(in my own judgement) because these imprefections actually allowed me to improve my craft.

IT ENCOURAGES ME TO CONTINUE WRITING

I was an occasional writer before I started this blog. I use to only write when I am at a height of a certain emotion and needed an outlet to vent but other than that I never really wrote on a regular basis mainly because I never thought anyone would actually read any of my works. I was not confident on my own compositions which eventually made me lose my appetite for writing. However after a few months of blogging and with the encouragement of the blogging community, I was encouraged to pursue this passion again and it made me rekindle my desire of becoming an author someday.

IT MOTIVATES ME TO SET GOALS AND ACHIEVE THEM

Running a blog requires you to set goals and challenges you to achive them and that’s probably one of the greatest practises that blogging has taught me. I was not only able to use this for my blog but it also made me apply it in my own personal goals in life.

IT SYMBOLIZES MY JOURNEY (SO FAR)

I can be an emotional writer at times and so some of my posts tends to be so personal like my “A Love Letter to My Unborn Child” post but it also makes me realize how I’ve grown so far as an individual. I would sometimes read some of my past posts and would be amazed on how I was able to get through certain situations in life. It sometimes reminds me of some previous painful experiences but at the same time makes me realize of how much I’ve grown and how it’s possible to be better.

THE OPPORTUNITIES ARE ENDLESS

Blogging has opened a few doors for me, ones that I never once imagined would come my way. I mean, I never have thought that brands would reach out to me and show interest that they would want to work with me! Blogging gave me this opportunity and it’s an experience that I will never forget.

IT MADE ME A GO-GETTER

Whenever I want to do something but would feel a bit of hesitation or fear, my blog would somehow remind me to just go for it! Just try it! I mean, I was able to push through with writing so it means to say that I can do so much more as long as I believe in myself, work hard and act now! There’s just so many possibilities in life but it’s always up to us on how we act to achieve these opportunities in life.

Why do you love blogging?

xoxo,
