Let’s talk makeup today shall we? Let me share My Most-Used Foundations Right Now and why they’re my current favourites! I know finding the right foundation could be daunting because you have to consider a few things. Not only that but there’s also a ton of options in the market.
My take is to try different products out before deciding to purchase one. Take advantage of samples and test the products in store to make sure that it’s the right product for you, Trust me, this works and will save you money!
This is my go-to if I’m looking for a full coverage foundation that lasts almost all day. Although it’s full coverage, it still feels light on the skin which is good because my skin can still breath.
This has a thick consistency so a little goes a long way if you don’t want to look cakey. If you use the right amount, it can really give you a natural finish whilst giving you the coverage you need.
2. Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick
First of, it’s very compact which makes it super easy to carry around. Because of this, it’s my perfect foundation choice when traveling. This is also very easy to use since it’s in a stick form so you most probably apply what you need on specific areas. It blends so seamlessly and does not create any unwanted creasing at all!
What’s more about this foundation is it gives you a really natural finish. It’s almost like a second layer of your skin! It also does not transfer which I love since I like wearing whites and turtlenecks during Winter.
Since my skin is really sensitive, I love that this never caused me to breakout or irritated my skin. If you want to splurge on a foundation, this is worth a try because it’s so worth it!
3. Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation
Last on this list is the Revlon ColorStay Full Cover Foundation. As the name says, we have another full cover foundation! But this time, it’s something from the drugstore.
You can probably agree that finding a good foundation from the drugstore that gives you full coverage is rare. But this one actually delivers which I appreciate so much and which is why we have it on this list.
You can also tell just by looking at the foundation’s consistency. It’s thick and creamy which I think really helped to provide a decent coverage.
Now, I’m not gonna lie that I bought the wrong shade on this foundation but still manageable so long that I blend it carefully and does not use so much of the product.
That’s another thing that I love about this foundation, it’s very easy to blend! It stays well with my blush and bronzer plus it doesn’t crease on my dry areas.
Only thing is that I notice a slight transfer on my clothing whenever I’m wearing this foundation but so intense which is okay. Overall, this is a pretty decent foundation which delivers what it says it would plus it’s also very affordable!
And that’s a wrap for My Most-Used Foundations Right Now! Hope you enjoyed this post!
What do you think of these foundations? Have you tried any of them? What are your most-used foundations?
Thanks for sharing! I love the reviews! I haven’t tried any of these ones yet. For years I was only wearing Smashbox CC Cream, then moved to Vasanti’s Liquid Cover Up Foundation and Concealer. It comes in a small compact tube so it was awesome! Coverage was great too. I’m now using Cover FX, because I wanted an all natural product. So far it’s pretty good, but like you did with Revlon, I bought the wrong shade (it was my first attempt at buying foundation online) but now that I’m in quarantine and barely leaving the house, my skin is starting to lighten into it haha! I will have to give it more time because I was barely putting any on before so I didn’t have a different shade neck.
I used to be obsessed with the NARS Natural Radiant, but once it fell from my hands and broke and I’ve never picked it up again. I don’t use foundations that heavy anymore but I remember it being a good one!
I agree. This foundation can be heavy. 🙂 Hopefully I won’t need it as much in the future once my red marks disappears. LOL. Anyways, thanks for reading!
I love both the NARS one and the Hour Glass one … I don’t wear the Hour Glass one often because I use it when we are going to an event or a special dinner.
