5 Things That Are Helping Me To Stay Inspired About Blogging

Finding inspirations in life can be a hurdle at times and that’s definitely the same in terms of Blogging! For the past months, I recognized that I wasn’t as consistent in terms of creating new contents as I used to but I’m slowly going back in to the game! So, I thought it would be fun and helpful for me to share the 5 Things That Are Helping Me To Stay Inspired About Blogging in case you are in the same phase!

5 Things That Are Helping Me To Stay Inspired About Blogging

1. Reading

I used to read a lot of books, poetry or just fun and interesting articles online but for the past few years, my interest in reading slowly declined. I noticed that this affected how I write and so lately, I started reading again.

Lately, I’ve been reading a lot of novels, inspirational books and mostly articles from my favourite bloggers. Since I love seeing and reading different contents, it helps to re-fire my interest in writing back again. Reading also gives me new ideas and new contents for my website!

2. Instagram

Instagram is home to a lot of content creators specializing anywhere from Fashion, Beauty, Travel and so much more. Personally, I follow a lot of outfit related posts and basically a ton of fashion bloggers.

I am amazed at the amount of effort these bloggers exert to share creative and amazing contents! No wonder that they’re successful at what they do and that they managed to keep a solid following even though this space is very competitive. Seeing all these stylish and unique pictures inspires me to keep going as a small blogger and to keep creating more contents be it on my blog or on Social Media.

It’s also very inspiring to witness a lot of beauty influencers’ where they start small and eventually make it big. They basically proves us that anything is possible in life so long that you keep working hard for what you want.

3. Going on Small Trips

In an ideal world, I would love to go on vacation every two months but unfortunately that’s not the case in real life. LOL. And so what I do is indulge myself in small trips to unwind, relax my mind and body and to basically take a break on anything work related. I find that this helps me re-establish not only my creative side but also my long term goals.

Traveling in general allows you to experience new things, meet new people and basically learn things that you wouldn’t necessarily learn on your normal day-to-day grind. As for me, it helps clear my mind which gives me fresh ideas especially if I’m experiencing a writer’s block or if I struggle to think of posts to share. Most of the time, I am able to contemplate new topics after a trip which I find really rewarding.

4. Reading My Old Posts

Whenever I am visited by thoughts of quitting blogging permanently, I go back to my old posts and re-read them. This helps me to remember the reasons why I started blogging in the first place. It also reminds me of my journey as a blogger and all my earlier goals and aspirations when I was just starting. This process helps me to have a clearer mindset and re-fires my desire to achieve my blogging goals.

Every time I do this process, it also inspires me to re-evaluate and re-plan my blogging goals, strategies and work plan. I feel like it also helps me to be more realistic when it comes to setting goals since I had to consider my other responsibilities outside of my website. Once I have a clearer picture about all the specific details or goals, I tend to be more creative and inspired to keep creating contents since at the end of the day it makes me feel happy.

5. Allowing Myself to Take Some Time Off of Blogging
alt="30 things I've learned at 30"

When I focus my mind on something like blogging, I tend to set unrealistic goals at a very short period of time and push myself to over work which in the end is making me feel extremely tired, unproductive and uninspired. What I learn in the past few months is to allow myself to rest when I feel burnt out or to allow myself to be lazy if I feel uninspired to share a new blog post. At the end of the day, if I force myself to create a content, it wouldn’t turn out good anyways since it’ll sound forced and uninteresting.

Allowing myself to take my time before sharing any content actually helped me to be more consistent and more creative. It also helps me to visualize a more realistic plan on future contents or goals.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Till next time,
