It’s still technically the beginning of the year but the biggest beauty brands have been showering us with new releases back to back! However, as we all know, not all new releases will work their promises. Personally, as I grow my little collection, I prefer trying new products that are unique and would be functional in my day to day life. When the Naked 1 Palette retired, a lot of beauty enthusiast voiced out their disappointment. Urban Decay was fast to produce a new and probably better alternative. The Naked Reloaded Eyeshadow Palette which promises better shade selection and larger pan size.

ELF+ Matte Oil-Control Primer

Number two in our list is the Matte Oil-Control Primer from e.l.f. Cosmetics. What’s interesting about this primer is that it contains clay which is supposed to help control any oiliness on your face. Clay masks was definitely a big hit last year and so it’s interesting to see it as an ingredient for makeup products.

16HR Camo Concealer

This is the second product from e.l.f. cosmetics because I find it as interesting as the Matte Oil-Control Primer. Comparing to other new concealers, this offers a uniquely large and doe foot wand applicator for easier and more precise application.

elf+ Glow Highlighter

Last from e.l.f. is the Glow Highlighter which currently offers 3 shades. It’s a coconut infused highlighter which is fairly priced at $6.00 USD. It’s probably the best powder dupe for the Marc Jacobs Coconut Gel Highlighter at a more affordable price.

Bye Bye Pores Bronzer

It Cosmetics’ Bye Bye Pores Collection is probably one of their most sought after line. With this success, we are sure to expect another high-quality result from this bronzer. It’s supposed to help cover up uneven skin texture and pores for a seamless sunkissed skin.

High-Impact Highlighter

If you are a big fan of highlighters, you surely wouldn’t want to miss the High-Impact Highlighter from Too Faced. This is a strobing highlighter that is supposed to give you a wet finish. This would be perfect for anyone with dry or dehydrated skin like me since regular highlighters can look patchy and unappealing on our skin type especially this Winter.

Seriously, L’Oreal Paris is in a roll since late last year! They’ve been releasing new collections and at the same time growing their already successful Infallible Collection. Just listening to this product’s name is already interesting enough! But, what’s more interesting is its dual functionality! It is basically a contour and highlighter duo which can do both jobs all in one swipe. Although I am a big skeptic when it comes to multi-functional products, this sounds really interesting that is so difficult to pass on.

Lolita Eyeshadow Palette

Kat Von D has finally released the anticipated eyeshadow palette version of the beautiful Lolita! It’s the most beautiful shade in the Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick Collection and so seeing it in a palette is absolutely exciting!

Mosaic Multi-Shade Highlighter & Blush

Last in our list is the Mosaic Multi-Shade Highlighter & Blush from NARS. This is probably the best duo ever! There is no better choice than a shimmering blush that’ll make you glow!
