My Current Winter Fashion Staples

Winter is probably the worst time to care about Fashion when our most important concern is getting warm. Personally, I mostly care less about how I look during this time because I hate being cold. However, living in one of the coldest countries in the world for over 10 years also taught me to choose items that won’t only keep me warm but would help me look decent enough! Here are My Current Winter Fashion Staples for 2019!

My Current Winter Fashion Staples

Denim Jeans

Denim Jeans are actually one of my Winter must-haves because they keep my legs really warm. I like putting on a warmer or leggings before putting them on for added warmth. I also like that they’re very easy to pair with sweaters, turtlenecks or cardigans.

Long Cardigans

I love long cardigans in particular regardless of the season! They’re probably one of my all-time staples! For Winter, however, I prefer ones with thicker fabric to keep me warm.

Animal Print Scarf

Scarves are one of the most important accessories that you should have during the Winter season. It keeps your face and neck warm but also, it adds spice to your whole outfit. Since I am a huge fan of animal prints, this Leopard print scarf from Zara has been my go-to this year. It’s very lightweight, looks stunning and most importantly, it keeps me warm!

Faux Fur Vest

I’ve been wanting to add a Faux Fur Vest in my wardrobe for a long while now. However, I am very specific with what I want so it took me a while to purchase one. But, when I saw this vest from Banana Republic, I just knew that this is the one for me! The fur has a good quality, the color is not too dark or too light, it is warm and it just take my Winter wardrobe to another level very effortlessly!

Knitted Sweaters

Knitted Sweaters are probably everyone’s best friend during the coldest days of Winter! Personally, they’re my absolute favorite! It keeps me really warm and I like that brands are coming up with new designs every year which allows you to still look put together!

Ankle Boots

This may sound odd since Ankle Boots is probably not the best for Winter. But luckily this year, we do not have much snow (well, so far!) which allows me to wear mid-heeled ankle boots. They’re comfy and helps me add more height (I need it, trust me!). I also like that I can layer it with socks for added warmth.

Turtle Necks

Turtlenecks may be an old staple from the majority of you but I’ve only been loving them this year. I used to wear chunky scarves and so I’ve never found the need to wear one before. This year though, I found them as a perfect layer for my faux fur vest and so they’re easily one of my current favorites! They’re really warm too which is really important!

Additional Accessories!

Shoulder Bags, Ear Muffs, Gloves (not pictured), and a Beret Hat are my favorite accessories this year! They help keep me warm and really, they look cute too!

I decided to downgrade to a shoulder bag because it’s lighter and easier to carry especially with my Winter Coat on.
