What’s in my Makeup Bag?

I finally got around sharing this post which I find a bit weird given the fact that I have been blogging about makeup for over two years now! Why? I have no clue! Maybe because I find it so cliché sometimes but at the same time, I love this type of posts. Maybe this is even one of the first YouTube videos that I’ve been watching ever since? Anyways, here it is- What’s in my Makeup Bag?

Eye Products

Eye products are probably one of the most important products in my makeup bag because they are the ones I really think I need. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is first on the list and for my lower lash, I have the Lower Lash Mascara by Pixi. For eyeliners, I have the Tarteist Double Take Eyeliner by Tarte which I consider as a space saver since you have two options based on your need (liquid and gel pencil eyeliner). Kevyn Aucoin’s The Eyeshadow Duo in the shade 210 and this shimmery dark brown eyeshadow are my go-to eye makeup.

Lip Products

For Lips, I want to have a wide choice for that just-in-case moment. Kat Von D’s Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick in the shade Lolita is my go-to pick. Then we have NARS’ Powermatte Lip Pigment in the shade Rock With You and Maybelline’s Super Stay Matte Ink lipstick in the shade Escapist for my liquid lipsticks. I would normally use the liquid lipsticks to transition from a day to night makeup look when I have an unexpected rendezvous after work.

Brow Products

For my brow products, I wanted to keep it simple so I only have two products. First is Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Definer in the shade Auburn and Hourglass’ Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel.

Primer and Concealer

alt=

It Cosmetics’ Bye Bye Breakout Concealer is probably the most important piece from this set. I use it to cover any redness or breakouts in my face and it is very effective as it is. By far, this is probably the best full coverage concealer I have ever tried. Another concealer is Yves Saint Laurent’s All Hours Concealer which I used to use to cover my acne scars. Finally, we have the Pore Professional Pearl Primer from Benefit Cosmetics. I very rarely use this product but it’s something that I need to have in my makeup bag just in case I needed it.

Face Products

For Face Products, I always bring with me my Powder Foundation from Sephora, Butter Bronzer from Physician’s Formula, Killawatt Highlighter (Mean Money + Hustla Baby) from Fenty Beauty, Too Faced Love Light Highlighter in the shade Ray of Light and for blush, I have Mac’s Prism Matte Blush.

Makeup Brushes

alt=

Last but not the list is the makeup brushes! I only bring four brushes. Once for contour, highlight, blush, and eyeshadow which I mainly use to blend my darker eyeshadows.

So that’s what’s in my makeup bag! Hope you guys enjoy this post!
