Sephora Haul: Summer 2018 Edition

Sephora’s Appreciation Event ended on Monday, September 1st and so here I am again with a new haul! I have been looking for an excuse to indulge myself yet again with new makeup and receiving an email from Sephora about their Summer Sale is definitely the best one! Monday is a holiday which made this event rather short so I decided to spend a majority of my Friday in the store picking up some goodies. Without further ado, here is my Sephora Haul: Summer 2018 Edition.

NARS

NARS’ blush are one of my favorites so I picked up the Dolce Vita shade to add in my collection. The size is perfect for traveling or to carry around on my makeup bag so it’s the best choice. Next from the brand is the Orgasm Illuminating Loose Powder which is perfect to use as a highlighter.

Fenty Beauty

Fenty Beauty is one of my favorite beauty brands so I picked up three products to add to my collection. Pro Filt’r Amplifying Eye Primer is first which I’ve been lusting since it was released. Packaging wise is very much similar to the Pro Filt’r Retouch Primer but the formula and consistency are very different since the eye primer is much thicker whilst the Retouch Primer is lighter and watery.

Next are the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters in the shade Lightning Dust + Fire Crystal and Girl Next Door + Chic Phreak.

Too Faced Better than Sex Waterproof Mascara is next on the list. I was not really impressed with the original version so I am hoping this would be better. Also, I am currently running out of a waterproof mascara and thought this would be a perfect choice.

Natasha Denona’s Super Glow Highlighter in Light Medium is an impulse buy after swatching it at the store. Packaging is unique and cute and the product itself is very impressive! It is not glittery but the glimmer is intense which is perfect for a day to night use.

House of Lashes’ Lash Collection with Sephora in Valentina is another impulse buy! I do not use false eyelashes but I am saving this one once I decided to finally sport some falsies!

For foundation, I picked the Veil Fluid Makeup from Hourglass. My skin tone is a bit darker now after my vacation so I’ve been looking for one that would match my current skin color until it goes back to normal. To be honest, the packaging is what got me to buy this foundation but knowing this brand, I am hoping that the quality would be more impressive.

Last on our list is Sephora’s Magnet Blush Brush which is sold for only $15.00 CAD but is promising because the bristles are dense but very soft. It is also angled which could be very useful for an easier application.

Have you tried any of these products? Which ones and would you recommend them?
