What did I like about it?

I am never been the one who fancy light Foundations because of what my skin needs. I definitely need coverage on my acne scar spots but at the same time I want a natural finish. This foundation surprisingly delivered this result!

Although the product is light, I can easily put on more product on areas that I need more coverage. Since the foundation applies evenly, I still get to have a smooth finish even though I don’t deposit the same amount of product throughout my face.

I tried using this with different primers, concealers and setting powders and it seems to still work the same. It blends smoothly with any product that I use it with.

The color payoff is also good. I have the shade Ecru which compliments my skin tone really well. It does not oxidize at all which is really amazing!

What didn’t I like about it?

Although this foundation works well on the “good areas” of my skin, I find it a bit problematic in my dry areas. It tend to cling and looks patchy on my dry spots which are my chin and the corners of my nose. However, I can easily fix it by blending it with a buffer brush which may take time.

The Swatch

This foundation looks thick and slightly fluffy but it actually applies light and weightless.

The Verdict

Overall, I would rate this foundation an 8.5 out of 10. It obviously has its own pro’s and con’s but it does what it claims and so I am fine with it. It’s also fair that it lasts about 8-9 hours in my observation which is pretty standard in most foundations.

Since I love wearing scarves, turtlenecks, and whites this Winter, I am also impressed that I did not notice any messy transfer from this Foundation. Although I can’t say that this is perfectly transfer-proof since I still notice a little bit of transfer to my fingers whenever I accidentally touch my face.

Have you tried this foundation yet? What did or didn’t you like about it?

Till next time,
