What I Bought from the Sephora Spring Sale

Hey everyone! I am back from an unexpected blog break! There’s really no explanation about it but I felt like I needed some time off to refresh my mind with new ideas. To jump start this month, I thought it would be fun for me to share with you all what I bought from the Sephora Spring Sale. I’ve been reading a few of this posts for the past few days and it’s been fun and interesting. But to be fair, I’ve always been a big fan of beauty haul posts so that probably explains it.

Makeup

I have mentioned majority of these products on my wishlist and some are purchased on a whim. The Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills is definitely the first one in my cart. I’ve been wanting this palette since it was revealed on Instagram and so I am thrilled to finally have it in my collections. The packaging is very similar to that of the other ABH palettes except for the casing’s nude color.

Next is the Mini Sunset Eyeshadow Palette from Natasha Denona. After swatching this at the store, I just knew I had to get it. It is also very compact which is why it’s perfect for travelling!

Another one from my wishlist is the Shameless foundation by Marc Jacobs. Although this has been receiving bad reviews on Sephora’s website, I still want to try it out. It claims to offer a medium coverage which sounds fair to me.

The Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner is another one from Marc Jacobs. I needed to get a new eyeliner and thought this would ber perfect. The wide color selection of this collection is very impressive but what I loved about this is its intensity which is what I am looking for in an eyeliner.

Smashbox’ Petal Metal Highlighter in Gilded Rose is an absolute surpise on this list. However the packaging is what got me on this one. It’s just beautiful! Gilded Rose is perfect for my skin tone and I can see myself wearing it for summer. The other two shades are a bit overwhelming for me but they’re also beautiful. I would actually recommend both if you are looking for an intense highlighter.

Too Faced Natural Nudesis the only lipstick that made it in my cart. The formula is just soft, creamy and rich which is why it’s so hard to miss it. I am not a huge fan of nude lipsticks but I thought this would be perfect for a daily wear. Pricing is also pretty reasonable considering that quality that you are getting.

Last on the Makeup List is Huda Beauty’s Classic False Lashes in Claudia #6 which I’ve been wanting for a while now. I do not wear falsies but I guess it’s not too late to start right now. (Please let me know any tips on this one!)

Skin Care

I do not have a huge list on Skin Care since I am still trying to use up most of my stash. But I decided to get Origins’Matte Moisturizer and Renewal Serum which are both from the Original Skin Collection. I have also been wanting both products for a quite some time now so the Spring Sale was a good chance to purchased them.

What did you bought on the Sephora Spring Sale?

xoxo,
