Sephora Favorites #Selfie Kit First Impressions

The Sephora Favorites #Selfie Kit has been a mainstay in Sephora’s website for the past few weeks. Since its release, I’ve been so tempted to put it in my cart but never really push it through because I thought the products would be so tiny to even try out. Finally, I gave in and boy I’m very much impressed!

This kit is sold for $34.00 CAD, a very good amount for products that has a total value of $120.00 CAD. Surprisingly, the box that came with it is very sturdy which is a big plus for me since I’m always up to recycling boxes.

The kit contains six different products from six amazing brands. The individual sizes are excellent and will definitely last you a lot. It’s no doubt that you’ll get every penny you spent on this kit.

What’s inside the kit?

•Cosmic Face Powder from Stellar (4g)•

Stellar I believe is one of the newest brands that became available in Sephora last year and so I’m excited to try this out. I love that the powder feels so soft and fine to the skin.

•Blur Stick from Milk Makeup (6g)•

Milk Makeup is a brand I have yet to try so I’m glad that this stick is included on this set. The packaging is simple but sturdy and unique which is a staple for all Milk Makeup products. This is used as a primer that apparently blurs your pores and gives you a smooth finish.

•Shimmering Skin Perfector in the shade Opal from Becca (2.4g)•

It’s no secret how well-known Becca is when it comes to highlighters so this product is a big bonus! The shade is a beautiful glittery light pink and it’s impressive how fine the glitters are. It’s I guess safe to say that this is not one of the highlighters that would make you look like a walking glitter ball.

•Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara in the shade Noir by Marc Jacobs (5g)•

The wand is what impressed me more on this mascara. It looks full and fine which is usually very helpful to lengthen and thicken your lashes. And oh! a regular size costs $33.00 CAD.

Tarteist double take eyeliner in black from Tarte (0.1 g)•

This ia such a perfect travel liner becaue it’s double sided. The other end is a regular eye pencil and the other end is a liquid liner.

•Liquid Lipstick in Ashton by Anastasia Beverly Hills•

The shade looks pink from the outside but it looks more like a beautiful soft brown when swatched. It did dry fast and doesn’t feel dry which is always my preference for liquid lipsticks. The shade is very wearable for both day and night looks.

Overall, this kit is superb and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try out different brands without breaking the bank. The variation, size and quality of the products that you’ll get is more than impressive.

What’s your best picked Sephora Favorite Set?

xoxo,
