1. Enrich Your Mind

Boosting your mind first thing in the morning will help you jump start a productive day! Doing this will help you create a happier mood and a clearer and sharper mind which in turn will help you to be more efficient on any tasks.

This can be done in so many ways but I personally prefer doing it through affirmations and/or a positive thought instead of immediately thinking of a difficult task that needs to get done. Spending a few minutes to meditate or even just a quiet time will also help a lot to condition your brain on the day’s activities.

Taking time for mental clarity will also avoid unnecessary stress since you are most likely to think logically and clearly!

2. Energize Your Body

As much as putting importance on mind nourishment, taking time to nourish your body in the morning is key for a more productive day. When you’re body is weak, you’re most likely to not accomplish a lot of things because you are either tired or lacks energy!

Replenish your body by having a healthy breakfast and by being active. Now, not all of us have the luxury to be able to go to the gym early but even just a short run or workout will do! Some even practise yoga which can still make a big difference.

Keeping your body strong and healthy will help give you the energy that you need to complete your daily tasks and also ensures a better work quality.

3. Have A Plan

Now, having a plan does not always necessarily mean creating a to-do list. However, if this works for you, then it’s a very good way to keep yourself organize and will help you track your tasks.

Personally, I use the calendar method. I do this by plugging in certain tasks or activities on a specific time on my personal calendar. Doing this does not only help me to be organized but it also encourages me to respect my schedule thus I’m able to complete my tasks on time.

If ever I have an unexpected task/activity that needs to be completed that day, I can just rearrange my tasks based on the priority level and move others on another time or day if need be. The calendar method also helps me keep a track on how long I usually complete a task which will help me better plan my schedule in the future.

Over all, having a solid plan on how you would execute your tasks or activities in a day helps you to be more organized and meet any deadline. This has a positive impact on your productivity since you have a continuous flow on your priorities rather than wasting time on contemplating what to do next.

What do you think about these routines?

Till next time,
