Products I want to Test this Month
I have been pretty stagnant with the majority of products that I’ve been using for the past two months. That’s mainly because most of them are working really well with what they’re supposed to do so why change them right? However, I wanted to shake things up this month because I am starting to accumulate unused products again! And I thought it would be extra fun to let you glimpse on the Products I want to Test this Month! So let’s start, shall we?!.
Products I want to Test this Month
Essence Face Mask
Let’s first begin with the products that I’m most excited about! It’s the Essence Mask from a Korean Brand called Ja Yeon Mapping (I think?). I have not tried these masks or brand before so It would be pretty exciting to see how they’d work.
Now, I love facial Essences which explains my excitement about this mask. I just feel like it would deliver more since it is a multi-purpose skin care item. I got the Green Tea Essence Mask and the Collagen Essence Mask which are both very promising.
Cleansing Products
For cleansing products, the Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam from Etude House is at the top of my list. I have to say though that I have been struggling to find a good cleanser for my skin type and condition but I’ve been settling with the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for over two months now mainly because I didn’t want to waste it.
And so when I saw this Baking Powder cleanser, I was immediately tempted! It claims to thoroughly cleanse and remove impurities and dead skin cells. But most importantly, it is also good for acne prone skin (like mine) because it uses Baking Powder as the main ingredient.
Next is the Double Cleanse by Pixi Beauty. I have this for a little while now but never got the chance to start using it. So before it expires, I thought it’s best for me to start putting it to test this month.
Makeup Products
I first talked about the Olehenriksen Banana Bright Primer on my Spring 2019 Sephora Haul. However, I have not been able to use it since then. I really wanted to share a review on how this primer works so I have to start using it ASAP!
Next, we have Shiseido’s UV Protective Stick Foundation. I thought this is really interesting because of so many things! One, knowing that your foundation already contains an SPF is amazing! Two, it contains 37 SPF which is well over the minimum recommended SPF for the face and last but not the least, it claims to be water resistant for 80 minutes!
This may sound really good for Summer but since I am taking swimming classes weekly, I thought it would be very useful to start using it now.
Next, is the Dream Wonder Powder from Maybelline. My skin has been weirdly turning very oily at the end of the day so I need a powder that would help me control this. I picked this up during the L’Oreal Sale last week so it’s time to put it to test, I guess!
We also have Urban Decay’s All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray! I mainly use setting powders now but I remember liking the original All Nighter spray when it was first launched so I thought I’d give it a try again. I thought this would be perfect on the weekends or when I had to meet some friends after work and I don’t really have the time to retouch my makeup.
Last, we have Garnier’s Micellar Eye Makeup Remover Pads which I picked up because all my waterproof mascara failed me during my swimming classes! Now, I know it’s easier not to use mascara when you are swimming but I literally have no choice since my class is scheduled after work which means I am already wearing it before my class because girl, I don’t want to go about my day with non-existent lashes!
Hair Product
Finally, for hair, we have the Hydrating Shine Mask from Rene Furterer. I got this on my Winter FabFitFun Box and it’s high time to put this to use! To be honest, I really don’t have high expectations about this because I find that 90% of hair masks in the market does not actually work but we’ll see!
Have you tried any of these products yet? Would you recommend them?
Till next time,
