Cacao Face Cream by ANHESA + GIVEAWAY!

Trying new skincare products have been on my list these past months. I search for the best potions to manage my overly sensitive and acne prone skin. For me, effectivity is really important but so as to clean ingredients. One product that met these criteria is a face cream that I’ve been using for over two months now. To top it all, it’s a proudly Canadian brand in the making! So if you are hunting for the next big thing, here is my review of the Cacao Face Cream by ANHESA + GIVEAWAY!

Who is by ANHESA?

Now first thing first before we move forward, let me introduce you to this brand. It is a Toronto based company owned by Anupa. What’s unique about this brand is Anupa’s minimalistic approach towards skincare. She believes that an effective product does not need too many ingredients. One or two is definitely enough! Armored with her love of creating her own skincare products right from her kitchen and endless research, she created by Anhesa.

Why you have to try it?

The sole reason for why you have to try this brand is their ingredients. By ANHESA, pride themselves of using mostly raw and plant-based ingredients that are guaranteed to solve your skin problems. The brand also make sure that they use the ingredients in their most natural form to make sure that you are getting the most benefits possible!

Cacao Face Cream by ANHESA

Now, let’s talk about the Cacao Face Cream. Anupa gifted me this product to review. After over two months, I am ready to share my experience! Good and bad so here we go!

As you may probably already guess, this cream is packed with Cacao goodness. Now, I’ve never used any product with Cacao as its main ingredient before so this is definitely new to me. Doing my readings, I’ve learned that Cacao is rich with antioxidants that battle signs of aging and helps to repair any skin damage. It’s also a perfect ingredient to improve your complexion and heal any redness or blemishes. With this information, I was expecting much from this product!

The first thing that I noticed about this face cream is its creamy consistency. It looks thick but actually feels light to the skin. Because of its texture, it spreads so smoothly all over my face without using so much product.

After my first use, I immediately realize that this is perfect for anyone with a sensitive skin. I noticed no adverse reaction or effect on my skin even when I have fresh breakouts. But what I really liked about this product is how it left my skin feeling and looking moisturized. Gone are the dry spots in the corners of my mouth and nose!

It’s also important to note that this goes well with makeup. Although it contains oils, it doesn’t leave your skin looking oily to interfere with your foundation’s finish. It’s actually a good cream to prep your skin before makeup application because it leaves your skin fully hydrated.

My only complaint about this product is the pump that came with it. I really liked the packaging. I thought it’s unique and simple. However, the pump is quite a bit of a challenge. It squirts the product all over which can be messy but it’s not something major that wouldn’t make me purchase this cream in the future.

I just have to say also that the cacao scent is faintly recognizable but it’ll eventually dissipate once it’s dry.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, this product was gifted to me but yes it is also effective! Would I recommend it? Definitely! I saw good results as early as 2 weeks so this is absolutely a must-try. I even think that this is perfect for Winter because it’ll keep your skin healthy and hydrated.
