Must-Have Organic Skincare Products from Viking Beauty Secrets

Let’s first talk about the brand- Viking Beauty Secrets. First, I think that their name is really unique and what’s really interesting about them is what’s inside their products! They pride themselves on producing skincare products that are Vegan, non-GMO, free of toxic chemicals and cruelty-free. They also do not add or use artificial colors or fragrances.

The founder, Eha Urbsalu, created this certified organic Nordic Skincare brand using berries that are native to Northern Europe which can survive temperatures as cold as -40 degrees Fahrenheit, the perfect skincare for extreme weather changes!

Nordic Beauty is one of the 2021’s Biggest Trends because of its benefits and ingredients. The products contains Black Icelandic Volcanic Sand that helps to deeply cleanse and remove toxins from the skin, Rowanberry which has a high vitamin content that helps regenerate skin, Sea Buckthorn known to nourish the skin, and Cloudberries for a younger and healthier appearance of skin.

Exfoliating Face Scrub

The first product that I want to talk about is the Exfoliating Face Scrub. This oil-based face scrub contains Icelandic Volcanic Sand which helps to thoroughly clean and draws toxins from the skin while the Rowanberries and Arctic Raspberries help to nourish the skin.

What I love about this face scrub is that it’s gentle and non-abrasive but still leaves the skin feeling clean and smooth. Since this is an oil-based face scrub, I noticed that it also helped in removing makeup from my skin.

The face scrub is in a clear color which coincides with the simplicity of its ingredients. It has an almost minty smell that is honestly relaxing and soothing which not only makes the entire exfoliation routine enjoyable but is also such a nice treat to yourself after a long day!

The texture of this scrub is comparable to other face scrubs in the market. However, the brand does not use microbeads and replaces this ingredient with gentle volcanic sand. The scrub is indeed very gentle and melts as you lather the product on your skin. Personally, I find this amazing since it assures me that it’s not tearing my skin which could be very damaging.

Restorative Night Cream

The Restorative Night Cream is another product that I can’t resist! It contains Hyaluronic acid, Cloudberries which is rich in Vitamin C to help the skin look young and healthy, Rowanberries which contain vitamins to help the skin look brighter and Sea Buckthorn which helps moisturize the skin.

Just like the face scrub, I find this night cream gentle and effective. I noticed that it helped hydrate my skin which is usually what I am looking for when it comes to night creams.

The results are not immediate just like all skincare products but I noticed that my skin felt softer and looked hydrated after a week of continued use.

The texture of this night cream is soft. Although the cream will initially look thick, it actually applies smoothly to the skin. It feels really light and my skin seemed to absorb it immediately.
