Happy 2019! | What’s New & What to Expect?

Hello everyone! It’s been a minute I know! 2018 has been a hectic one for me which most often than not would leave me with no choice but to set aside my blog and focus on other priorities. I cringe a little saying this because, for almost three years now, this blog has been one of my priorities. At times, my main priority because I get to share what I love, what I am passionate about and most importantly, I get to talk to all of you!

Life happens, however, and so amidst all of my planned posts for December, I just had to take a break. My crazy workload and all the little dramas that came with it were all too much for my tiny heart to take! LOL!

Nonetheless, I am extremely excited to be back in the blogosphere! I can’t wait to start sharing all the new posts and ideas that I have been planning for all of you! Yes! I was on leave but was still able to write down new ideas for when I am ready to start writing again for you guys! Before we begin with this crazy ride though, I just want to say HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you! I wish everyone nothing but the all the glitz and glam that this life can ever offer!

And what’s the best way to start fresh again but create a new logo and layout for the blog! It just makes it more real and exciting! Now, I can say that the action has definitely begun!

Now, inline of the new year and new beginnings, I also decided to make a few changes on the blog. Last year, I focused more on beauty and haul posts which, undoubtedly are two of my favorites in this life but this year, I will make it a point to also share more on Fashion, Lifestyle and Blogging topics.

DIY posts will also make a big come back this year!

To add a little bit of spice, I will also add a new category in our already lengthy list of topics…

Initially, the plan was to create a second blog dedicated for these topics but one website is already time-consuming for me at the moment and so adding these topics on thatgirlArlene is the most plausible solution for now.

Personal Finance is probably the one that I am most excited about since it’s somewhat related to my 9-5 job giving me a chance to share what I know about the topic. Plus, personal finance is our least talk about the subject yet it’s one of the most important!

And so enough talking for today 😁! I know I’ve been rambling but I simply can’t help it since I am just excited to talk to you guys! Anyways, I’ll see you on the next post and don’t forget to let me know any topics that you would want me to share or talk about next time!
