A Day in Mont-Tremblant Village
One of my October’s highlights is probably spending a Day in Mont-Tremblant Village with my sister. It was a short trip but nonetheless fun and exciting. My Autumn experience this year may have never been completed without this trip. Of course, I had to tell you all how that day went by so if you are curious, here is my Mont-Tremblant experience!
A Day in Mont-Tremblant Village
I was extremely excited about this trip since it’s one that I’ve been wanting to do for years. Living in Montreal makes it very accessible for me to visit Mont-Tremblant yet its proximity would also be my excuse to constantly postpone it and opt to go somewhere else. Somewhere outside Montreal as I would always say. This year, however, I wanted to make sure that I would cross this out of my bucket list. We initially planned to go at the beginning of October yet random circumstances would always go in the way. Finally, we made it at the end of the month!
Unfortunately, we missed the biggest highlight. The beautiful colors of Autumn. Many would say that if you want to witness different colors of Autumn leaves, Mont-Tremblant would probably one of the best places to go. Sadly, we were too late.
The leaves have all fallen out from the trees leaving us with nothing but brown landscape. Yet for me, it was still beautiful. It was such an experience to enjoy nature this season! It was definitely something new to me since I was always afraid of the cold weather.
There’s definitely a lot of things to do in this small village regardless of the season. You can go hiking during the Summer and early Fall. Eat and wine in all the cozy restaurants and bar around the area. Enjoy a unique spa experience all year round or try different snow sports during the Winter season. Mont-Tremblant is truly a haven for anyone who loves the outdoors!
Plus, you get to enjoy the breathtaking views especially when you reach the top of the hill!
Again, unfortunately for us, we were not able to hike all the way at the top because of the weather. The cable cars are also stopped during this time because of..you guessed it right- the weather!! But no hurt feelings left since it’s something that I can look forward to next Fall!
One thing that amazed me during this trip was the snow-covered hill. It was just a small section so I was guessing it was man-made or maybe, just maybe, they sprinkled water all over that section to create a wintery vibe? LOL. Whatever it is, they’re very successful at creating that vibe because it seems that many people were excited to see the snow (not me though! Let’s make that clear!!). I don’t have anything to do with Winter!
But I must admit that the snowy view was really beautiful!
Overall, my first experience in this small village was beautiful. Seeing and experiencing nature truly is such a great blessing. It makes you appreciate all the little things in life that we unknowingly ignore. Let’s not forget how beautiful this life is! Sometimes, all we need is to enjoy, appreciate and love the simple things that life has to offer. Because these small details will help us see the bigger picture!

I stayed in Mont-Tremblant Village in summer several years ago. It’s a beautiful place.
