My Autumn 2018 Nail Polish Edit
At-home manicures and pedicures are two of my indulgences. There is nothing compared with being able to personalize your own nail polish’ colors and designs. What’s more exciting about it is that you get to play with your own motif each season. Personally, I love switching up colors depending on my mood, events and most importantly, the season. Since Fall is officially here, I thought it would be fun for me to share My Autumn 2018 Nail Polish Edit dedicated to all the nail polish lovers out there! Hope you guys enjoy this post!
My Autumn 2018 Nail Polish Edit
The Basics
For Autumn, my basic colors are always the darker shades. This year, I am opting for a classic black shade from Sally Hansen called Hooked on Onyx, a deep blue shade from China Glaze called One Track Mind and a deep amazon green shade from Essie called Hang Up the Heels. Honestly, I would probably be picking up the black nail polish more than the other two shades because it is the safest and easy to maintain.
The Autumn Red
For some strange reason (or am I right?), I always associate Autumn with the red color. Why? Probably because of the falling leaves! Therefore, a red nail polish is also a must for me this season. To add a more Autumn-ish vibe, I picked a deep red color from Revlon in the shade Valentine.
Blush Shade
This color might come as a surprise to many but I still like to use pink shades during the Fall season. I may not pick it as often as the darker shades but I still consider it as an essential. I specifically love this one from Sally Hansen because of how flattering the color pay off is.
The Golden Brown
I would normally pick a matte dark brown for Fall but I decided to play it a bit different this year. I opted for a goldish light brown shade from Sinful Colors in the shade Gold Medal. This may look really light for Fall but I can easily build it up for a deeper finish. Personally, I feel like this is the best type of brown for this season.
What do you think of these Nail Polish Shades? What’s your typical nail color choice for Fall?
