“Product Review: Tarteist Clay Painter Liner”
If there’s one makeup product I can’t live without, it’s eyeliner! People who knows me would agree to that since I almost never left the house without my eyeliner (oops!) and so it’s a fun quest for me to try different kinds of eyeliner. One product that intrigued me just recently is the Tarteist Clay Painter Liner by Tarte simply because it’s the very first liner I’ve seen in a tube plus the angled brush that came with it seems so easy to use.
I couldn’t wait to finally use this liner after I got it from Sephora and girl, this didn’t disappoint me a bit! I picked up the black liner (gold and silver colors are available in Sephora’s website) and I loved how rich and vivid the color was. It’s almost as dark as the night which is perfect for me since I’ve always preferred really dark liners. A little goes a long way for this baby so you don’t really need a lot of product to perfect your eye liner.
I fell in love with this liner all the more because it lasted all day without smudging or making me look like a raccoon. It didn’t create any crease regardless if I didn’t apply a primer prior and the color didn’t fade at all. It just didn’t budge!
It also dries quickly and turns to a nice matte black color.
The angled brush is very helpful as well because it made the application easy and clean. The brush is so soft and I think the shape of it made it easy to create a winged liner. The handle is just perfect and easy to hold. It would usually take me a few tries to create an even and nice winged liner but since I started using these duo, it became so much easier and I can now afford to sport winged eyeliner everyday! Yey!
There’s nothing so special when it comes to the packaging but the angled opening could be helpful by holding the product especially if you’ve mistakenly squeezed the tube too much. My only complain about this product is that it could be difficult to take enough product out, I am careful on squeezing the tube so much to avoid the product from exploding but I always fail because it’s really difficult to tell how much product is coming out.
Over all, I love this liner and I would highly recommend it especially for the one’s who love to do winged liner regardless if you’re a newbie or pro!
Have you tried this liner yet? What’s your favorite liner?
Much love,
Arlene Kischaen Aboli
