The ACQUA Hydrating Serum by FEY Cosmetics
Skincare is becoming my number one priority these past few months. Not only do I invest in quality products but I’ve been carefully selective of the ingredients being used to curate these concoctions. Since then, I’ve noticed a tremendous improvement in my skin. One product that I’ve been using for almost two months now is the ACQUA Hydrating Serum by FEY Cosmetics which is one of the key products that helped improve the state of my skin.

The ACQUA Hydrating Serum by FEY Cosmetics
Just to give you an overview, I have only start using serums over two years ago. In this little time, I was able to experiment on different products and brands. Most of the time, I see slim to zero results which is why I was still on the road of searching for the one! I wanted to find a product that’ll not necessarily give me an overnight result but something that’ll actually work for my skin type.
FEY Cosmetics was just right on time when they contacted me about letting me try one of their serums. Obviously, I jumped into this opportunity right away! After browsing their website, I selected the ACQUA Serum since it specifically targets my skin type.
Who is FEY Cosmetics?
You are probably asking the same question I had when I first come in to contact with this company. Who is FEY Cosmetics?
They are a proud Canadian beauty company that specializes in Skincare. What’s outstanding about them is their promise of using purely organic ingredients which is more beneficial to the skin than synthetic ingredients. Now, this sounds really interesting for someone like me who can experience acne breakouts just by using new skincare products.
Let me also add that they are also 100% hands-on in terms of the formulation of their products. Meaning, the creation, and testing of the products are all done internally and not by a third party or a factory to ensure the best quality possible.
There are currently four available serums on their website one being the ACQUA SERUM which we will talk about more later but each serum contains unique ingredients and targets different skin types and concerns. This means you can easily find the best option based on your needs!
The TONUS Firming Serum contains Hyaluronic Acid fragments, Chlorella, Rosehip Extract, and Vitamin E. It is designed to tighten and moisturize the dermal layers of your skin.
Price: $84.00 CAD
While the Éclat Nourishing Serum contains fragments of Hyaluronic Acid, Baobab Oil, Green Tea Extract and a Vitamin/Amino Acid Complex. This serum promises and younger and healthier skin.
Price: $84.00 CAD
Finally, the FUSION Regenerating Serum which also contains fragments of Hyaluronic acid and additional ingredients such as Sea Kelp, Tamanu Oil and a Vitamin/Amino Acid Complex. As the name implies, this helps to regenerate skin and help improve the overall health of your skin.
Price: $99.00 CAD
ACQUA Hydrating Serum
Before using the serum, my skin was deeply dehydrated with some oily and dry spots. Because of this skin condition, it was difficult for me to find products that will work together to address all of my skin concerns. I will still constantly experience acne breakouts even after following a thorough skincare routine. My skin was also dull that even a foundation cannot fix.
Then comes the ACQUA Hydrating Serum. I’ve incorporated this in my night time routine and it has been working wonders ever since!
Made with Healing Ingredients
The ACQUA Hydrating Serum is made with what I call the “Healing Ingredients”. It is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid fragments, Aloe Vera, and Meadowfoam Seed Oil. These ingredients all work together to give you well-hydrated and smoother skin.
After about two weeks of consistent use, I immediately notice my skin to be well-hydrated. My dry spots are also completely gone! Since my skin is properly hydrated, I find that my other skincare products started to work more efficiently. My skin became more receptive of other ingredients since it already contains the moisture that it needs to be able to accept and process more specific products.
I’ve also been using this serum during and after my vacation in Mexico. This did not only kept my skin hydrated but it minimizes any sun damage that I was exposed to. This was my first sunny vacation when my facial skin didn’t seem to get “burned” even after long exposure to the sun.
Overall Experience
Just like what it claims, this serum works amazingly to bring back the moisture on a dehydrated skin just like mine. Overall, it gave me the result that regular moisturizers can’t provide. Since this is more potent, it was able to penetrate more deep inside my skin and addressed my long-time battle with dehydrated skin.
It’s also important for me to say that this is one of the products that did not cause me to breakout. Honestly, this is really amazing for someone like me who still occasionally suffers from acne breakouts even on my late twenties.
This serum has a thicker consistency and doesn’t spread as easily as I would want. However, considering that serums are best applied by using a gentle tapping motion on your skin, this is easily forgivable.
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely! Especially if you have dehydrated and/or dry skin. This will work perfectly for you. It would also be a really good serum for the Winter season when our skin is at its driest.
