Top Five Mobile Apps That Will Pay You to Shop

As much as I love shopping, I also like finding ways on how to still save while splurging myself. Discount codes are one of the most common ways to save on your online purchases but are you aware that you can also make money while shopping? Did I say make money? Yes! And I am here to say that it is absolutely possible! For today, I want to share with you a list of my top five mobile apps that will pay you to shop!

EBATES

This is my favorite on this list because it’s the one that I’ve been using for a while and one I’ve already received a few payouts at. Ebates is basically an affiliate company that pays you to shop at the stores that they are affiliated with. They are currently affiliated to a total of 750 stores like Sephora, Amazon, eBay, Best Buy, Top Shop, e.l.f. Cosmetics and so many more!

How it works is that you have to download their mobile app, create an account (they also have a website) shop and make money through cash backs. So basically you will get a certain percentage of cash back from the total amount that you spent. Your cash backs will be accumulated and can be claimed by check or via PayPal. You can also search for coupons to save even more.

BeFrugal

BeFrugal is another favorite! How it works is exactly the same as EBATES but they are bigger! They are affiliated to a total of 5000 stores like Ulta, Walmart, Macy’s, Sephora, Amazon, and Walgreens just to name a few. Coupons are also always available and will be mentioned when you click the name of the store. They send your cash back through PayPal, Check, Gift Cards or by Direct Deposit.

Swagbucks

A lot of you may have already heard of Swagbucks because they’re more out there than the other Apps on our list. I think the reason why is that they offer a few different ways for you to make money which is pretty impressive. You can watch videos, play games, download apps, take some surveys, shop or even just by discovering some online deals. How it works is that you earn SB coins in every task that you complete or for every dollar you spent from their affiliated stores. And that’s basically it! You can then use your SB points to redeem gift cards from your preferred store.

TopCashback

TopCashback is another mobile app that works exactly like EBATES and BeFrugal. They are affiliated to more than 4000 stores ranging from Fashion, Beauty, Home, and even Travel merchants. What I like about them is that they offer more ways for you to redeem your cash back. You can either get it through Amazon Gift Card, PayPal, American Express Reward Cards, Direct Deposit and eGift Cards from selected stores.

Walmart’s Savings Catcher

This is Walmart’s very own reward program for their customers. It is a bit limited but can still make you earn a few bucks. How it works is that you have to have a copy of your recent receipt, create an account on their website or mobile app, sign in to their savings catcher site, enter your receipt number and purchase date (must be within 7 days only) and then they will compare the prices that you paid for the eligible items to their competitors’ prices. If you paid higher than their competitor’s prices, they will match the lesser price and give you back the difference. You can then redeem the savings catcher rewards you earned to shop on their website or at the store through via Walmart Pay.

TIPS to Maximize your Cash Back

I would recommend for you to create an account in all of these sites and always compare the % of cash back that they offer before shopping online so you can get the most return. Also, there are a few stores that are not included in some of these apps but are affiliated with the other. The trick is to switch to the app that has the store that’s not included in the other apps so you can still receive a cash back with your purchase.
