“October 2017 Favorites”

Time for another end of the month recap! For today’s post I’ll be sharing with you all what I’ve been loving this month. So I’ll skip my usually long intro and let’s just get right in to the reason why we’re all here…

My October 2017 Favorites!

First on the list is this amazing book by Paulo Coelho. I know I listed this book in my What I’ve been reading this month: September 2017 post in which I mentioned that I’m just half way through the book yet but I was finally able to finish reading it this month and it easily climb up to my top 10 favorite books of all time. I like how Mr. Coelho told the story of a middle aged woman who at some point in her life questioned if she’s really happy and contented with her life or if she’s just pretending to be truly happy because this is what’s expected from a woman like her who seemingly have everything in life. I won’t go in too much detail about it but I really like how relatable the story was. It challenges you to find your true happiness in life. If you haven’t read this book yet, you are missing out on a really good novel so you have to get this in your hands!

Next is my favorite accessorry this month which is a basic chandelier earrings. I completely forgot where I got this since I have it hidden in one of my drawers for a while and I accidentally found it again after organizing my stuff. Amazing how you can find treasures from your old collections huh?

I’ve talked about the Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil in one of my previous posts this month and I shared how much I’m in love with this product because of how much it helped to heal my skin. I’ve been using this for over a month now and I am so amazed on how much it transformed my skin. This easily found a permanent place in my skin care essentials.

Another product infused with Argan Oil is this hydrating hair mask from Moroccanoil which I recently just reviewed so I won’t get in so much detail about it. And again, this is the only hair mask that actually healed, hydrated and completely improved my hair’s condition so I’m really loving it.

Next is this dry shampoo from Nexxus. To be honest, I’m completely a novice when it comes to dry shampoos because I don’t really find the need for it since I prefer washing my hair every morning before going to work. But I decided to buy myself this dry shampoo for days when I’m running late. I was eyeing the Batiste dry shampoo since I’ve heard so much good things about it but I ended up getting this one from Nexxus instead. Firstly, the packaging is just simple but eye-catching with its rose gold color. The scent literally spells heaven! It’s almost floral but just a bit lighter which is just perfect for me. I find that this actually helped to add volume on my hair without showing any signs of that “just got out from the bed” look.

Lastly is my favorite go to snack this month which is the oatmeal cookie from Dad’s. I’ve never really appreciated this until now and I don’t know why! I mean, it’s just taste so milky, crunchy and addictive! I can literally eat 2 packs of this in just a few minutes!

And these are my favorites this month, hope you enjoyed this post! What’s on your October favorites list?
Much love,
