“September 2017 Favorites”

Is it just me or September really came and went so fast? I feel like I just shared my August Favorites last week and now I’m writing my September favorites! To top it all, this year is almost finished! Time is really fast don’t you guys think so?

Anyways, let’s talk about my current favorites this month. You may have already seen some of these products on my previous posts so I won’t go in so much details as I may sound redundant and we don’t want that.

•Fascy Hand Cream in Peach•

I snag this hand cream last month at a Korean beauty store because I fell in love with the smell when I was trying it out at the store. The smell is fruity but it’s also light, I like that it doesn’t feel greasy just like most hand creams are and it feels really hydrating and cooling on your hands too. I got this on sale for I believe $5.00 CAD.

•Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer•

I’m really not sure if I received this as a free sample or I might’ve used my points to get this at Sephora but bottom line is, I am in love! I have this for a few months now but I accidentally put it aside so I wasn’t able to use it up. I recently just started using it again as my daily bronzer. It smells like a real chocolate, it’s very pigmented and easy to blend, it also last a while and sits well on the skin to give you a natural finish. Although it’s just a sample size, the pan contains a decent amount of product which can last for a while.

•Still Makeup Brushes•

This is one of my impulse purchases this month. Me and my sister went to Walmart in search for some office supplies but I ended up snagging this set instead and I’m glad I did! The bristles are very soft which is perfect for blending my makeup. The handles are very sturdy and looks chic with its matte black color. I didn’t notice any fall out on the bristles yet which could be an indication that these brushes might last me a while! I forgot how much I got this set for but I’m sure it’s less than $15.00 CAD so it’s a really nice steal.

•Charcoal Blackhead Clearing Mask by Danielle•

I honestly have no clue about this brand and this is the very first product I am using from this line. I’ve been searching for the activated charcoal pills in the drugstore to make my own mask but I wasn’t lucky after so many trips so I was so excited when I saw this product instead. It is very effective in removing both blackheads and whiteheads and it leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth. Although the product indicates that this is only for your t-zone, i still tried using it all over my face and it was surprisingly gentle and not painful to remove. The product is very thick making the application quite difficult so I would recommend using a brush with it. The only thing I didn’t like is the alcoholish smell of the mask which irritated my eyes even though I didn’t apply anything under my eye but other than that it’s a really effective mask to remove your blackheads and whiteheads.

•Smashbox Foundation & Eyeshadow Primer•

I did a review about the Smashbox Try it Kit Primer Authority on my previous post and these two are my favorites. Both helped to make my makeup last all day and I am just hooked!

•L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara Primer•

This is the very first mascara primer I’ve ever used because I didn’t even know they existed. I did notice a difference in terms of my mascara’s longevity throughout the day whenever I’m applying this. It also helped to avoid my lashes to clump after applying my mascara which is good because no one likes to have a clumpy lashes.

•Metallic Pink and Glittery Nail Polish from Essie•

I’ve been playing mix & match with these two babies right here and I am liking the outcome. The colors are perfect for a summer inspired nail polish look and it would also be perfect for Fall. Just like most of nail polish from Essie, these two lasts for at least two weeks before it starts chipping. The colors are rich, takes a decent time to dry and is easy to remove.

•NYX Rocker Chic Palette in Heart of Gold •

I got this palette at a L’Oreal warehouse sale for $15.00 CAD. I was initially in love with the packaging because it looks so edgy and cute. The shades in this palette are perfect for an everyday look, they’re also very versatile since you can build the colors for a darker look. I personally love the shimmery gold and pink shades because they’re so pigmented and easy to match with different colors so they’re my current go to picks!

•DIY Rose Water Setting Spray•

This is such a life saver you guys! It’s very handy, effective and easy to make. I use this everyday to set my makeup which helped to make it last without making my face oily. I also use it as a face mist during those humid days to freshen up and hydrate my face and guys, it works and it didn’t ruin ny makeup!
