“Product Review: Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation”

I am guilty of judging beauty products based on their packaging. I mean, it’s the first thing that you notice when browsing through different brands and products in one corner. This is pretty much why I picked up this Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation from Physicians Formula. I liked how they combine pink and rose gold as the main colors of the product so it really looked girly.

Since I am currently loving the Quo Luminous Foundation that I recently reviewed, I had to force myself to finally try this foundation out so I can effectively share a review with you guys and to be honest, I have a love and hate relationship with this one.

What I noticed initially is the alcohol like smell which is pretty much strong especially when you are applying the foundation near your nose. Surprisingly though, the smell will no longer be apparent once you apply it in your skin but it can be disturbing during the application which made me a bit hesitant to put it on my skin. However, I liked how lightweight the product is which made it easy to apply and blend. The product sits well on the skin and does not create any creases which gives you a natural finish. I also liked that  it didn’t have any shimmer or glitter like substance that can make my oily skin looks shiny especially at the end of the day. This product will give you an over-all matte finish. The coverage is more like a medium since it does offer enough coverage without making you look over done. I am also impressed that it didn’t break me out which is usually the case when I am trying out new products.

The brush that came with it is not just an accessory because it actually is very useful. I haven’t used a brush when applying my foundation in a long time because I have fallen in love with my beauty blender so I was surprised that this little brush actually did help to blend the foundation. The brush is small but the bristles are so soft but thivk enough to hold the foundation together to make the application easy and clean.

Over all, I’ll rate this foundation a 3 out of 5 only because of the smell but the coverage is really great. I would probably repurchase this foundation only if Physicians Formula will do something about the smell.

Thank you all for reading!
