It has been ages and ages since I last used a loose powder because I prefer to use pressed or compact powder mainly because it is way easier to carry it everywhere I go. However, during my last trip at the drugstore I found this loose powder from Physicians Formula and after reading the product description I was tempted to buy it.

Recently, my skin has become so unpredictable causing me to breakout a lot and for some reasons my skin is producing higher amount of sebum making it so oily most of the day. Since Physicians Formula offers products to anyone with sensitive and oily skin, I thought it would be a good idea to try their Mineral Loose Powder.

What I love about this product is that it helped minimize the oiliness of my skin and it didn’t cause me to breakout even more. It has a light to medium coverage so it is perfect to use after applying foundation or concealer. It also does not enhance my dry areas which is really good since powder products seems to settle more on the drier areas of the skin. This powder also gives a natural finish which is good especially if you are looking for a “no make up look” .

What didn’t impress me most is the packaging itself, the container has an oval shape which could be bulky to put in most make up bags. I am also not a fan of the brush that came with it since it’s too rough to use on the skin and it does not really help to blend the product and so I am using my regular powder brush to apply the powder. Also, it is a bit difficult to get the product out so I would usually completely open the whole lid for it to be easier and less messy.

Although I am not really impressed on this product, I would still continue using it mainly because it’s helping to minimize the oiliness of my skin. I am not sure if I am going to repurchase this product but there’s a great chance for me try other Physician’s Formula products in the future.

Have you used any of their products? If so, what would you recommend?
Much love❤,
