“What’s in my 2017 Skin Care Wish List”

IMG_20170914_015225

After sharing my 2017 Beauty Wish List, I thought it would also be a nice idea to share with you all my Skin Care Wish List for this year. To be honest, I use to neglect the importance of quality and effective skin care products until I suffered a really bad breakout back in 2016 which lasted for more than a year. It was such a horrible time because it affected my confidence in front of other people. To date, I still get breakouts here and there but it’s not as worse as before since I managed to find effective products to battle acne and I was able to find a skin care regimen that really works for my skin type.

My beauty wish list is inspired by this experience which made me choose products that are not only effective but also helps to prevent acne. Without further ado here’s my 2017 Skin Care Wishlist.

Mia 2 Cleansing Brush by Clarisonic

I’ve been wanting this brush for so long now because of how it can thorougly cleanse the skin but for the price of $219.00 I really think it’s too much! I’ve seen a few dupes online and in the drug store but I am not completely convince that those can cleanse effecively like this brush so I am still fantasizing on this one yet I am not sure that the price is reasonable.

Treatment Enzyme Peel by AmorePacific

I received a sample of this in one of my purchases in Sephora and I loved it. I’ve been wanting to get the full size bottle but I never really got the chance since I am trying to stick with cleansers that contains Salicylic Acid or Glycolic Acid to manage my acne prone skin but since I am not having so much breakouts lately, I thought it would be a good idea to finally take this baby home! (I am still loving my Nip + Fab Cleanser though so I am torn).

Foaming Cleanser by Ole Henriksen

Yes! another cleanser. What I like about this is that it contains Vitamin C which can really help to remove or reduce the appearance of scars. Apparently, it is also very effective on removing any trace of makeup so it’s a plus because it’s like a makeup remover and cleanser for the price of one.

Mask of Magnaminty by Lush

I love Lush because they use organic ingredients which are friendly to anyone with sensitive skin like me, I have tried and loved their Dark Angels cleanser which helped my skin so I want to try more of their products including this mask.

Moisturizing Cream by La Mer

I’ve read really good reviews about this cream and it’s one that you always see in the magazines but it’s really expensive! It’s on my beauty wish list for a while now and I am hoping to get it on hand like soon?

Acne Clearing Gely by Peter Thomas Roth

Another product with really good reviews because of how effective it can reduce acne and acne scars. I also like that it contains both Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid which is a good indication of this product’s effectivity.

Toner by AmorePacific

A beauty representative from Sephora suggested this toner to me before and I was really impressed on how gentle and soothing it felt on my skin. This is apparently a good product to reduce redness as well so I wanted to try it but I thought it’s really pricey especially that I’ve been making my own toner (click DIY Toner & Setting Spray to try my own recipe for an affordable and effective toner!) for a few years now for a way lesser price. I might give this a try though if I see it on special or if it has a smaller bottle.

Argan Oil by Josie Maran

This is by far the most well reviewed Argan Oil in the market that I am aware of so I am really curious if this really works. Hoping to get this soon.

Night Creme Mask by Estee Lauder

I recently read about this because I am on a hunt of a good night creme. I’ve read some good reviews about it and I am planning to check it out in Sephora first before deciding to get it.

That’s all for today! Hope you all like this post. Please let me know if you’ve tried any of these babies because it would really help!

Much love,
