    The Spring 2018 Sample Challenge

One of the reasons why I prefer shopping on Sephora’s website is because I can freely choose samples with my purchases. This is such a good way of trying out new products without hurting my bank account since I get to test these products before deciding to get the full size. Unfortunately some samples contains so little product that you don’t get the chance to really see their benefits but some managed to give me really good impressions which eventually made me decide to get the full sizes. These past few weeks, I have been trying to use up so many skin care products in my collection that I’ve completely forgotten…

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

Having a sensitive and acne prone skin can sometimes be a challenge since I had to always be cautious on the products that I use. This is not always easy and so for a while, my skin care essentials mostly comprises products for trial and error. I was able to find a few products that works best for my skin type but I am still searching for more additions that will hopefully help to repair my skin issues. One of my newest discoveries is the 2% Salicylic Acid Solution by The Ordinary which I first talked about on my The Ordinary Skin Care Mini Haul post. This was the first product…

    The Beauty Q+A Tag

I very rarely participate in beauty tag posts now a days because I sometimes find the questions redundant and uninteresting but today I decided to do this post (for a change) since I thought it would be a great chance for me to kinda talk to you guys in a more personal (well sort of) way which is something I haven’t done in a while. Also, I’ve been uninterested about blogging these past few days (for some reasons) so I haven’t been sharing anything lately so I thought doing this kind of post will help to bring back that fire in my chest!! Anyways, I hope you find this interesting and…

Five Must-Have Coats for Spring 2018

Transitioning your wardrobe from Winter to Spring is probably one of the most exciting things in a fashionista’s life because it’s finally time to say goodbye to all the bulky clothings. It’s the perfect time to start adding some colors and variety in your day to day style. I personally love hunting for new coats this season since they’re mostly the staples of my everyday look. Unique, chic and timeless are my requirements for the perfect Spring coat. With all the endless selection in the market (which can be overwhelming by the way), I have narrowed down the list to this five pieces that will surely add spice and elegance to…

    Benefit BADgal Bang! Volumizing Mascara

The BADgal Bang! Volumizing Mascara from Benefit Cosmetics is one of the newest addition in my small vanity as you may have already seen on my New in Beauty: Winter Edition post. The unique and rugged packaging is what caught my eyes first and after using it for a while, I find that the quality didn’t disappoint me as well. Firstly, Benefit claims this mascara to last for 36 hours and whether that is true or not I honestly do not care since I do not need to wear mascara for that period of time (who does anyways?). A mascara that’ll last me for 12 to 14-hour (max) is honestly more…

A Wintry Monday Afternoon in Ottawa

It’s funny how majority of the last-minute plans always pushes through compared to all the well thought-out get aways. One of life’s ironies I guess? Anyways, this is exactly what happened to me and my siblings a few days ago. It was Sunday night when we thought of going to Ottawa for some chicken. Popeye’s chicken to be exact! So around 11.30 in a beautiful Monday morning, we hit the road for the 2 hour drive. To be honest though, Ottawa rarely excites me. The last time I’ve visited the city was probably five or six years ago and it was just so quite for me. Being Canada’s Capital, most would…

The 2018 Pan Project: Beauty Edition

This post is already three months behind but I am still sharing it anyways. I have been accumulating so much products these past few months that I haven’t really had the chance to finish up majority of the existing ones I already own. This year however, I wanted to really focus on decluttering my makeup collection mainly by finishing up these items. So what’s in my 2018 Project Pan list? *Kat Von D Shade & Light Contour Palette* I really love this contour palette because of how pigmented and how it blended so well with my foundation. I do not use it everyday so the pans still looks full however this…

    NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation

The Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is NARS’ newest addition in their foundation collection and just like the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (which is one of my favorite foundations), this was definitely a hit. I was tempted to join the bandwagon mainly because this foundation claims to offer a medium to full coverage whilst giving you a radiant finish that’ll last for 16 hours and with this, who could say no? You’ve first seen this on my New in Beauty: Winter Edition post and I’ve been using it daily ever since so I thought I’d share my thought about it now. Coverage The coverage of this foundation is outstanding! I’d say…

Ten Spring 2018 Trends You Need to Know

It’s time to hide all your Parkas and pull out your trench coats because Spring is just around the corner! And as the season is vastly changing so are the latest trends in fashion as seen at the New York, Paris and London’s Fashion Week. What’s really amusing is that we’ve seen so many old trends coming back but definitely with a fresher style and designs which added extra elegance, chic and a more modern touch to these somewhat erstwhile vogues. Pastel Colors Pastels are the basics of Spring. Period. I personally prefer pastels on my coats, blazers and tops because they are mostly my premiere pieces on my day to…
